Every restaurant in the UAE offers free door delivery. Lunch or dinner plans of families and individuals at their favourite outlets start to buzz with the onset of winter breeze. Though, for people who wish to relish on their favourite savouries by staying indoors, the restaurant staff comes in handy. They ignore the soaring temperature and reach out to the customers’ doorstep with their favourites. They bear the brunt of this adverse weather since most of them use bicycles or motorbikes for their conveyance. And they never flinch their face when they extend the food packet to us. But how many of us extend a cup of water or atleast a smile of gratitude when we see them off? If we, who know the cruelty of desert summers don’t, then who else will?
