Dubai’s Dhow Trade has crossed a sea of seasons and yet silently remains the same. Daily essentials to heavy cargo – anything is well shipped to far off places like Yemen or Somalia or Iran, by these huge vessels. The men of these have an intangible relationship with their Dhows and the waters they cross together. For them, a Dhow is nothing less than a home itself. A stroll through the street near the wharfage will get one to see tightly packed huge kits of essentials and other items, waiting for its dhow-ride to a new world.
