Sharjah has many narrow streets that hides rich artisans and skilled-people. From stones to motors, anything can get a make-over in their hands. When we were on the look out for a leather strap for a vintage camera, this gentleman was the perfect find. He examined the device carefully, removed the worn strap and then replaced a new hand-crafted leather strap. He charged only a very nominal amount for a work that completely gave a fresh look to an antique device.
